Rosalyn "Roz"

 

 

 

Rosalyn "Roz" is a native of Jacksonville, Florida where she currently resides. She is a Professor of Business and IT in higher education. She received her BBA and MBA in Business from the University of North Florida, and has recently completed her course work for a Doctorate in Management and Information Systems Technology at the University of Phoenix.
 
Reading has always been one of Roz’s favorite hobbies. As a young girl, she learned that a good read could transport her to geographic locations all over the world and expose her to different cultures. She enjoys reading all genres, but stories that speak to the African American human experience are among her favorite reads.

 

She supports local authors and enjoys attending cultural events such as jazz festivals, shrimp festivals, and blue crab festivals. 

 

Roz is family oriented and enjoys attending her family reunions that are held in different states every two years. She believes in giving back to the community and supports local charities like the Salvation Army and Hubbard House. 

 

Roz is also an animal advocate and is adamant about caring for cats. Other hobbies include traveling, shopping, and baking scrumptious desserts. She is married, has four daughters, and two grandchildren.
