Mission Statement

Our mission is to increase our appreciation of literature while building life long relationships.  

 

We wish to read books that uplift, inspire and promote the well-being of women of color of all ages.  

 

U.S. G.I.R.L.S. would like to focus on issues that develop unity and bring our attention to issues of interest to women of color.

 

Although books are not required to be written by an author of color, the characters and/or content should be reflective of this.
