Kimberly "Kim"
Kimberly (Kim), is a native of Camilla, Georgia and resides in Jacksonville, Florida. Currently, Kim serves as a faculty member and Chair of the Communication Department for the oldest historically Black College in Florida. She also serves as a Dissertation Chair for a Christian University in Phoenix, Arizona.
Throughout her career, Kim has served as an educational administrator on the secondary and postsecondary levels. Some of her experiences include serving as the Director of Dropout Prevention for the Florida Department of Education, Chief District Administrator of Community and Family Engagement for Duval County Public Schools, Assistant Vice President for Enrollment Management as well as Chair of the General Studies Department for a local College.
Kim obtained her undergraduate degree from Mercer University in Macon, Georgia and her Masters and Doctorate degrees from Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida. All of her degrees are in the field of Communication.
Kim is a passionate educator who believes that education is a societal equalizer which is essential to achieving success. Most importantly, teaching allows her the opportunity to support others as they work to attain their educational goals.
In her spare time, Kim enjoys singing at church, cooking, watching movies, and spending time with family and friends. She also enjoys spending time with and spoiling her beloved Pomeranian, Sampson.
