This year, Turquoise Takeover and National Women's Lung Health Week (May 7-13) is highlighting a special new social campaign asking individuals to #ShowYourLungForce
Members, Bonnie, JayBee, Valerie, Karen and Jackie take a stand against lung cancer by wearing turquoise this week as a show of support, and posting their individual photos on Twitter with the "#" Turquoise Takeover as well as #WeMissYouAnn in honor of member, Silbethia "Ann" Blue, who succumbed to "non-smoker" lung cancer in 2014.
The American Lung Association LUNG FORCE initiative is uniting women and their loved ones across the country to stand together against lung cancer, the #1 cancer killer of women.
