The staff was overjoyed and impressed with the foresight and outcome of the initiative. Below is a final tally of the items collected:
391 pairs of ladies panties
165 pairs of girls panties
5 girls camisoles
5 girls tank tops
4 ladies T-shirts
2 ladies camisoles
30 ladies brassieres
1 pair of women's lounging pajamas
Jessica indicated that the Sulzbacher Center is so grateful to U.S. G.I.R.L.S. because with 300+ residents, underwear is a huge need, but often a forgotten one. She went on to say that the majority of donations are made during the holiday season and she was so happy to see this initiative during the summer when donations are down.
Jessica and the entire staff expressed a warm heartfelt "THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU" to U.S. G.I.R.L.S. for making the lives of the residents of the Sulzbacher Center a "little" brighter!!
