Money Can't Buy Love

Updated: Jan 9, 2021

U.S. G.I.R.L.S wear "Pink" in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month!

Valerie hosted our meeting with a breakfast at Panera Bread Company, River City.

Prior to the meeting, Valerie asked all members to wear "pink" in support of breast cancer awareness month, and we all looked lovely in our pink tops and jeans.

The meeting began with a prayer offered up by Valerie asking for patience as we discussed Connie Briscoe's Money Can't Buy love.

Valerie started the discussion with an apology for her book club selection. She indicated that she is a fan of Ms. Briscoe's work and was excited to read her new publication, but was disappointed that it fell short.

Valerie's apology was unwarranted as the book proved to generate much discussion and conversation around the subject matter, and we all enjoyed the meeting.

We agreed that Karen would ask Bonnie to host the upcoming meeting in December.
